Der Kleine spricht seine ERSTEN WORTE (English below)

Sein aller erstes Wort war Hund in Zeichensprache mit ungefaehr 8 Monaten. Jetzt ist er 19 Monate und man kann sagen er spricht jeden Tag ein neues Wort. Mit 18 Monaten waren seine ersten Woerter die er sprach Hund, Ball, Knopf, Kopf (auf englisch) gefolgt von Mama und Papa und natuerlich Nein und Ja. Vor ca. drei Wochen hat er das erste Mal Auto gesagt und er kann auch Hallo und Hi sagen sowie Bye Bye und Tschuess. Zu, Apfel sagt er Akku, in Zeichensprache Banane und spricht "Manna". Seit ein paar Tagen nennt er mich Manu. Seit vorgestern sagt er Zweiwortsaetze. Wie Manu eat, or Mama hat.  

Er versteht sowohl Englisch als auch Deutsch und er Spricht sowohl Englische als auch Deutsche Woerter. Er sagt This und Das.

Ab jetzt werden seine Interaktionen und die Kommunikation immer intensiver und komplexer. Er zeigt fast immer mit dem Zeigefinger auf Objekte die er gerne haben moechte. Er sagt bitte und danke in der Zeichensprache und bei Ueberraschungen wenn er von etwas begeistert ist, ist sein Wortlaut: "Wau".

Er kann Tierlaute nachahmen von Katze, Hund, Elephant, Affe …
  
Durch das Erlernen der ersten Worte ist seine Kommunikation viel offener geworden und er kann genau sagen was er moechte bzw was nicht. Man sieht ihm genau an das er schon selbst entscheidet was er machen moechte und kann von sich aus Entscheidungen treffen.

Man kann hier schoen sehen wie aus einem Baby ein Kleinkind wird. Die Handlungen werden dadurch mehr und mehr unabhaengiger und selbststaendiger.
  
Er liebt es wenn man ihn Seifenblasen blaest. Er liebt sie zu fangen und auf sie zu zeigen. 

Er ist auch grobmotorisch schon fortgeschrittener, werfen von Baellen mit Oberhand. Aber auch das Schiessen von Baellen mit dem Fuss sei es mit dem linken oder dem rechten Fuss schafft er schon ganz gut. Er macht auch schon richtige bewegungen und uebt sich schon im Tennis spielen und Hockey spielen.
  
Er klettert schon alleine auf die Stufen der Rutsche am Spielplatz und rutscht alleine die Rutsche hinunter.

Er kann alleine auf die Wippe hinaufsteigen und alleine hutschen.

Er hat sehr viel Freude den Spielplatz alleine zu erkunden und neue Geraete und Klettergerueste auszuprobieren.
  
Seine feinmotorischen Faehigkeiten uebt er beim Malen mit Stiften sowie beim Duplo spielen.

 His FIRST WORDS

His first word was dog in sign language with around 8 months. Now he is 19 months old and he speaks every day another new word. Around 18 months he regularly started to say words such as horse, hi, bye, hello, cheese, dog, ball, hat button, head, Mama, Daddy, this and and of course no and yes. Around two weeks ago he said car in German "Auto" and he can also say Hello, Hi and Bye and Tschuss in German. He calls an apple "Akku." He signs banana and he speaks "Manna". Around 19 months he started to call me Manu. Since two days ago he speaks two word sentences like Manu eat or Mama hat.

He understands both English and German and he is growing up bilingual, so he speaks German and English. 

Since now his interactions and communication are getting more intense. He  points a lot with his pointer to objects that he wants to have. He says please and thank you in sign language. If there is something he is really excited about he says "Wow". He can make animal sounds for the cat, dog, elephant, monkey, pig, cow, and lion. His first animal sound was the elephant trumpet before a year.  He gradually picked them up, most recently making the cat sound.  
With learning the first words his communication is getting stronger and he can exactly say what he wants and what not, so you can see clearly that he can already make his own decisions.

You can see his development from a baby to little child. His actions are getting more independent and self reliant.

He loves when I blow him bubbles. He is catching them and pointing at them.

He is advanced in his gross motors skills, before 18 months he could throw a ball with one or two hands, over and under hand and kick the ball pretty well with his legs. 

He climbs on the seesaw by himself and he likes to seesaw.

He has a lot of fun independently exploring the playground to try out new objects at the park next to my host family's house.

  

His fine motor skills are also advanced. He practices with drawing with markers and playing duplo.  At around 16 months he started putting little figures in the driver seat  of toy cars and tractors.
